As time unwinds on my dire opportunity of life and displaces my hope
I try to find the safer place to play with fire inside to replace the smoke

You’ll touch up any mislaid pride

Allow yourself to shine

All your troubles taken

No matter what I’ve done I will return to be somebody told me
To be the highlight of my self-esteem
No matter what I’ve been through I will pick you up again
And I will hold myself responsible to me

Although I can’t remember who I am
I keep forgetting that proof
In all I’d ever do I held to truth
